STEPS is licensed under an annual or perpetual agreement, with
an option of the following two simulation modes:
- Evacuation only
- Full (normal operations and evacuation)

Comprehensive technical support and regular software upgrades
are included during the first year of a perpetual license, as well
as the duration of an annual license.
After the first year of a perpetual license, a maintenance charge
will be levied to enable users to receive continued software
upgrades and technical support. Annual license holders are required
to renew their license each year in order to receive continued
technical support and software upgrades.
